Brand New...Yes, I feel brand new today. I had a busy and productive day. I was happy to move one step closer to my goal and pursuit of happiness with my passion journalism. I was shocked to hear this story...who would ever think a pet chimp would do this? I can't begin to imagine how this woman feels after losing her best friend. Sad ...Do you think there should be special regulations when it comes to people owning chimpanzees?
It's hard to believe but the recession has taken its toll on the runway this year for NY FASHION WEEK take a look...As a result, the parties are decreasing and the models are losing layers of clothing... I think this hits home. I can honestly, I have cut back on my shopping with the state of the economy...

To be or not to be is my mindset today. It has truly been a long day for me. This afternoon, I was hit by a SUV while driving home from work today. ( the Vandy college student managed to bump me just enough to scratch my bumper and crack it.) So picture me sitting in the middle lane during traffic time on Harding Place. Not a pretty picture! ( The Vandy girl whom hit me didn't want to call the cops..I know that's the funny part right? I guess she knew she would be in for rude awakening since she was at fault or maybe her insurance wasn't that great?) Anyhow, we exchanged information..I opted for the HONESTY method after speaking with my father. Now, I'm going to pray that this young lady does the right thing. ( I'm really feeling the aftermath right about now..my back is aching a little bit.)
In addition, I must say I had a blast last night with my close circle of friends at PF CHANGS celebrating my friend's birthday. ( I definitely needed that break) It's nothing like being with my besties and sharing great clean fun. :) Little did I know I would be in for a little more than I bargained for last night. I'M A SURVIVOR! Nevertheless, I'm here to deliver the news you can use.

So tonight, the Golden Globe Awards came on and if your like most viewers your not really watching the show so much..it's THE RED CARPET that always grab our attention. As a fashionista, I think special occassions are always nice times to have a red carpet night where you deck yourself out from head to toe, DARE TO be different by finding something to do outside the box , and embrace your personal beauty by having a photo shoot! After all you are FABULOUS and you need to know it...judging by the glitz and glamour with the MANY DESIGNER gowns and tuxedos tonight was A GOOD LOOK FOR HOLLYWOOD!

I loved this dress on her she looked so Elegant! Mr and Mrs. Carter I love it! Diddy looking serious on the red carpet. MY FAVORITE DRESS! Eva Langoria always is on TIME..Red looks good on her. This is the back i had to let you see this first. JLO stood out in her GOLD..just that I think she could have put in some OT in th workout plan. Lil flabby on the sides.. JENNIFER LOPEZ IN A GLOWING GOLD GOWN. I love Camereon Diaz...but what was she thinking with this PINK dress..it does nothing for her figure. She always exudes a NATURAL Beauty! She looks gorgeous in this navy corset gown. Angelina Jolie-Pitt..I'm not really sure what's going on here..I don't like this. Sorry Angie better look next go round! A True Diva! Defining a Coca-Cola Figure... Demi is always glowing..Ashton is on his job I guess. She looks younger everytime you see her. Go DEMI! Freida looks great in this mustard green number. Drew Barrymore looked like old Hollywood Glamour. She has come a long way.

Okay so for the rest of you whom actually wanna know who won here's the rundown. Kate Winslet faired well bringing home two awards for best dramatic actress for "Revolutionary Road" and supporting actress for "The Reader", the late actor Heath Ledger won for his outstanding performance as Joker in "The Dark Knight", Tina Fey better known as Sarah Palin look alike on "Saturday Night Live" took home award for "30 Rock," but the biggest winner of the night and surprise was "Slumdog Millionaire" winning 4 Golden Globes. Love is always a Beautiful Thing! When you find your true soulmate it is SIMPLY A SURREAL AND AMAZING MOMENT. I would like to CONGRATULATE JOSH AND FERGIE (STACEY FERGUSON)IN TYING the KNOT! JOSH AND FERGIE DUHAMEL had their wedding ceremony January 10 at the Church Estates Vineyards in Malibu.

I came across this interview and I had to share it with everybody. TI had to enlighten Tyra on a few things. (LOL) I love you Tyra , but sometimes she just needs to be put up on game.
Hi Everybody! Today has been a busy day for me..Times like this I'm REALLY grateful to have my trusty gadgets. I mean what would I do without my Instinct or my MACBOOK?! I would be one sick and lost puppy. Not that I'm just a TECH JUNKIE..let's just say I fall in the category of "NEW-NEW" ( I rock all the New Stuff that's hot before everyone else usually jumps on the wagon.) I mean come on what else can you expect I'm just Stylista KT.
I remember last year when the Instinct phone was about to come out it was like a big craze with Sprint. They sent me personal emails where you could watch video tutorials(which consumers never watch lol)and then at the store they would have the life-size card board display. Now, after having this phone I can admit it doesn't compare to its AT&T competitor " THE APPLE I-PHONE." Well guess I just have to chalk that purchase up and just be grateful I did the right thing by purchasing my MacBook.
ANYHOW, this morning on "THE TODAY SHOW", a sister couldn't help but notice how fast technology changes with the new and upcoming 2009 gadgets premiering at the International Consumer Electronics Trade Show in Las Vegas.

Now you know I just love my award shows, so I sat down and watched some of People's Choice Award show. I don't know how many of you watched it on CBS but here is my brief rundown: My hometown favorite Reese Weatherspoon won Favorite Female Star of the Year, sexy Will Smith Won Best Male Action Actor of the Year (he did his thang in his new movie Seven POUNDS), Ellen DeGeneres took home talk show of the year( I mean who can resist the dance moves and watching Ellen Get low on stage lol) and host Queen Latifiah was rewarded for her role in the The Secret Life of Bees. The top winner was Dark Knight, which in my opinion was ONE OF THE BEST MOVIES IN 2008. If your curious about the rest of the awards click here.

A MOMENT OF SILENCE...
I couldn't end without mentioning The Travolta FAMILY. PAUSE.. CAN WE PLEASE HAVE A MOMENT OF SILENCE? Rest in Peace Jett Travolta. I can only imagine what today must have been like for this family. My heart and prayers are with you during this HARD SEASON . Death is hard to deal with no matter the circumstance. It is something that seems to be hitting everyone these days. I think that's why its so important to talk to people, live each day to the fullest, tell the person you LOVE THEM, and most importantly getting yourself right with God or whoever you believe in.
