It's almost here the close of another long week. I'm counting down as always and still preparing for Father's Day! Don't forget Father's Day is this Sunday so be sure to call your dad up, spend some time with him, and at least get a card. After all it is thought that matters. ( Sure...I think that's just a nice gesture people loove to use. lol ) Anyhow, I missed my blog yesterday due to the technical difficulties with the storm, which delivered me with much needed rest. Woman fined $1.9 million for illegal downloads
Yes, recently a federal jury Thursday found a 32-year-old Minnesota woman guilty of illegally downloading music from the Internet. They fined her for $80,000 each which was a total of 1.9 million. According to CNN,Jammie Thomas-Rasset’s case was the first such copyright infringement case to go to trial in the United States, her attorney said.

SNOOP GIVING RAISING MONEY FOR LONG BEACH
As a native of the LBC West Coast rapper Snoop Dogg has vowed to give back to his city by raising 140 million dollars for a youth center in one of the poorest areas.
Word is it will be a 19 acre two story facility at around 84,000 square feet with all the typical perks offered at a youth center. It will have a gym, workout center, rec, walking trails, pools, and other options to help train the future atheletes in Long Beach. That's really good on Snoops part! Got's to dig that!

According to Allhiphop, "Snoop Dogg will record a track with all of the proceeds - an estimated $5 million dollars - going towards the facility."
