It has been a while since I have blogged on here. It's 2010! Im a month away from my birthday April 28th. This year started off on a good note I attended my first awards show which was the Stellars in Nashville, TN. ( It's a gospel Award show) In February, I interviewed Rae Thornton an AIDS Activist and Emmy winner. Now in March, I was blessed with the opportunity to attend the Southern Entertainment Awards (SEA Awards).

I'm truly thankful and blessed to be able to display all my God given talents in writing and meeting new people on a regular basis. The missing piece now is to find a full time outlet for my passion. Thanks for all those who have supported me in one way or another.

I truly appreciate you. Well let's see if I can get this Blog ball rollin' again since this is where it actually all begin...

The 7th Annual SEA Awards were great for me they had conferences, fashion show, and the big Awards show...

Okay so I have been MIA(MISSING IN ACTION) for a couple of days, but I have tried to take advantage and work hard during this Labor Day weekend. I have got some John Merritt partyin in..an exclusive interview I will tell you more about when it's posted.. time with the family and most importantly my TIME IN CHURCH! Today is more of a lax and chill day. I wrote a story on Tyra.

After San Diego Chargers baller Shawne Merriman was arrested this weekend for allegedly assaulting and falsely imprisoning Tila Tequila (Tila Nguyen), his attorneys are speaking out. He was released later that day. Merriman’s attorney denied the allegations, saying more than a dozen other people were at Merriman’s house in suburban San Diego, California, at the time of the incident and “witness after witness after witness will back up his story 100 percent. According to CNN:

Deputies didn’t see any physical injuries on Nguyen, but she asked to be transported to a local hospital, sheriff’s spokeswoman Jan Caldwell said. Nguyen’s condition was not immediately known.

Merriman’s attorney, Todd Macaluso, told reporters that Nguyen was “extremely intoxicated and inebriated” and that the player tried to make arrangements for her to leave the house.

“At no time did Mr. Merriman assault her. At no time did Mr. Merriman keep her against her will,” Macaluso said. “His intentions were nothing but good. … We’re very confident that this matter will be resolved without any charges being filed whatsoever.”

Jesse Mahelona, a former University of Tennessee and Titans defensive tackle, died early Saturday morning in a car accident in his native Hawaii. He was 26.

At 13 he was selling crack. By 30 he was a hip-hop legend—having gone, in his words, “from grams to Grammys.” Now Jay-Z charts his escape from the hard-knock life, describes the reunion that healed the wounds of his childhood—and even reveals the standing Sunday date he has with what’s her name.

Oprah: So tell me how you got into the drug dealing.

Jay-Z: It was natural.…

Oprah: Because drug dealers were your role models. There wasn’t a teacher or a lawyer or a nurse or a doctor or an accountant in the neighborhood?

Jay-Z: Well, we were living in Marcy by then, so, no. And if anyone did become something like that, they moved out. They never came back to share the wisdom of how they made it. If anyone made it, you never knew it. That’s why I’ve always said that if I became successful, I’d come back here, grab somebody, and show him how it can be done.

Oprah: So by the time you were 13, this was a way of life. Did the lifestyle frighten you?

Jay-Z: No. It was normal. And at some point, you become addicted to the feeling. The uncertainty and adrenaline and danger of that lifestyle.

Oprah: This is where we differ. This is where we differ. Because I’d be very scared! Weren’t you shot at three times—within six feet—and you lived to talk about it?

Jay-Z: That was divine intervention. Divine intervention, and nobody knowing how to shoot.

Oprah: What happened in each situation?

Jay-Z: It was one situation, three shots.

Oprah: So he was a bad shot.

Jay-Z: Well, no one really practices shooting a TEC-9 machine gun, right? And when you’re a kid, with little bony arms—no wonder nobody could aim.

Oprah: Many of the little boys who grew up in the Marcy projects are either in jail or dead. Why do you think you got to grow up and buy your mom a house?

Jay-Z: There’s the gift, there’s the spirit, and there’s the work—all three have to come together. If one of those things is off, it can stop you from becoming who you were meant to be.

Oprah: When I met you a few years ago, we discussed our disagreement over the use of the N word and misogynist lyrics in rap music. Do you believe that using the N word is necessary?

Jay-Z: Nothing is necessary. It’s just become part of the way we communicate. My generation hasn’t had the same experience with that word that generations of people before us had. We weren’t so close to the pain. So in our way, we disarmed the word. We took the fire pin out of the grenade.

HI TO ALL MY BLOG FOLLWERS WHO ARE NEW TO MY BLOG! I WANT TO THANK YOU ALL FOR TAKING THE TIME TO VISIT. Be sure to leave me some words via comment. The weekend has went by within the blink of eye, however it has been a productive one I must say. I went to church today at Mt. Zion in Nashville, TN. Bishop Morton was there to offer a great word. It was our Super Sunday. He gave a great testimony and of course he sung his great song " Let It Rain." ( love that song)

Former First Daughter Jenna Bush Hager is reportedly becoming a member of the press.
The daughter to former President George W. Bush is NBC's newest correspondent on the "Today" show, the Associated Press reports. Jenna, a Baltimore school teacher and two-time published author, will be covering stories on education once a month for the morning show.
"It wasn't something I'd always dreamed to do," she told the AP. "But I think one of the most important things in life is to be open-minded and to be open-minded for change."

MJ WAS AWARDED A STAR IN VEGAS TO HONOR HIS BDAY

According to People magazine Michael Jackson spent some of his final years in Las Vegas and now he'll forever be cemented in the city's legacy.

The King of Pop was posthumously awarded a star on the Palms Casino Resort's Walk of Fame Saturday – which would have been his 51st birthday – while his father, Joe Jackson, and a smattering of fans looked on.

"I wish he was here to see this take place," Joe Jackson said of the son who died June 25. Police have labeled the death a homicide.

THE TIME IS NOW TO take advantage of all your opportunities.. Don't wait and let time pass you by and you look back and say if I only I would've.. I could've been.. and next thing you know your sitting like a bump on a log! I'm working and griding hard with my writing. Today I wrote my 2nd article for Examiner.com. I hope you will support me and leave me some love.

I love the way this new chapter in life is unfolding and blossoming little by little! I Recall couple of weeks ago Bishop Walker saying that the "THING" your wanting out of life is right there waiting on you to grab it and claim it. He also talked about how certain people come into your life for a reason, season, or lifetime basically in a nut shell. People who I thought were out for my best interest, sometimes are found to be FRENEMIES or FAKE. People who are so called sisters will turn around and talk about you behind your back and STAB U. However , I'm grateful to GOD FOR THE POSITIVE PEOPLE GOD BROUGHT INTO MY LIFE WHETHER IT BE A reason, season , or lifetime. That's my Testimony hour for today..so you know what time it is? I SET MY TV EVERY WEEK.. This episode we got to see Kandi and Kim bond more at the studio. I was happy to learn that both of them are what ? TAURUSES GO TAURUS! LISA HARTWELL and Nene took a trip to Ingelwood always up to nooo GOOD.. to visit Lisa's family and Grandma. She mad a hard choice in visiting her brother's gravesite. I for one can relate it's always hard to go see someone very close in the family at their tombstone. Brings a lot of feelings and emotions out of us all. Sheree well let's just say she has some loose ends to fill with the fashion show b/c those girls were not ready?!

I mean I don't have much room to talk, no modeling experience but I think I could've gave them girls a run for the money. She by Sheree via Twitter I learned today has a website. You should all visit the Bravo site for more details on the Real Housewives of Atlanta.

Hope everyone had a great Tuesday! Today August 25, 2009 is a very special day in my mind, because it was 8 years ago to date that R and B Singer Aaliyah was taken away was killed in plane crash coming back from the Bahamas. She always exuded so much Beauty, Fashion, and Style..she was truly an Angel. I mean I can't recall one time where she came off like a diva or had a problem with anyone. I have so many memories when I think of Aaliyah. In high school, we always wore the dark loc shades and the hair over our left eye. ( fun times lol) In addition, I would say that it hit me hard when she died b/c it was the same year I started college.

I even did my first presentation on Aaliyah and I had a fly intro where I played her first album "INtro" from "One in A Million," where they spelled out her name A-A-L-I-Y-A-H! Needless, to say I did get that day. So all today I noticed on Twitter Aaliyah was a trending topic and it was great seeing all the love, memories, pictures, and videos..so I couldn't resist so here are some of my favorite videos and pics.

POP singer Chris Brown was sentenced today to 5 years porbation and he has to complete 1,400 hours in labor services in his state. Well I think he got off pretty easy. He just has to stay away from Rihanna for 5 years no phone contact or being within so many feet of her. I read earlier that he can within 10 ft of her at awards shows. What's your take on this?

What's going on folks? It's only Monday ..i KNow I know your all ECSTATIC AS I AM.. Well I had a busy and productive weekend.I got some great news to share with you all. I was blessed to get my hands on a great writing opportunity through a website. You are looking at Nashville's Celebrity Headliner writer for Examiner.com. Today I heard that Dr. Conrad was CHARGED of homocide with Michael Jackson's death.. man that's soo tragic and sad. Word is MJ died from a deadly overdose of Proprofol( a sedative that makes you sleep). The doc claimed he was using it to treat Mike's insomnia.. And to think this doctor actually went to school at Meharry College right here in Nashville, TN. Makes us look bad.. He can kiss his life and career bye bye! Also, I recall hearing on TOM Joyner MORNING SHOW a couple of weeks ago, that he was also the doctor of James Brown and his Wife.. WHOMP WHOMP.. GO FIGURE THEY BOTH Died!

YES ITS ME AGAIN! I'm back from my peaceful, beautiful and dreamy vacation from Miami. I had a fantastic trip and I just wish it would have been a little longer. Yesterday I cried watching the Michael Jackson memorial. I cried for a
little
black boy who felt the world didn't understand him. I cried for a little
black
boy who spent his adulthood chasing his childhood. And I thought about all
the
young black boys out there who may too feel that the world doesn't
understand
them. The ones who feel that the world does not understand their baggy
jeans,
their swagger, their music, their anger, their struggles, their fears or

chip on their shoulder. I worry that my son, may too, one day will feel
lonely
in a wide, wide world.

I cried for the young children of all colors who may live their life

Daddy had to deal with," I thought of all the "strange" things of the world
that
my children will have to deal with. Better yet, the things I hope they
won't
ever have to deal with anymore.

And as a mother raising a young black boy, I feel recommitted and yet a
little
confused as to how to make sure my son is sure enough within himself to
take on
the world. Especially a "strange" one. To love himself enough to know that
even
when the world doesn't understand you, tries to force you into its mold or
treats you unkindly, you are still beautiful, strong and Black. How do I do
that?

Today, I am taking back "childhood" as an inalienable right for every brown
little one. In a world, that makes children into booty-shaking, mini-adults
long
before their time, I'm reclaiming the playful, innocent,
run-around-outside,
childhood as the key ingredient in raising confident adults. Second, I will
not
rest until my little black boy, MY Michael, knows that his broad nose is
beautiful, his chocolately brown skin is beautiful, and his thick hair is
beautiful.

A BOMB SCARE FOR OPRAH!

According to E! Online at

At approximately 6:20 a.m. local time, a security guard at Harpo Productions Inc. in Chicago found a dark-colored backpack resting in a flowerbed just outside the studio. Ominous wires were said to be hanging from the bag.

Although the Bomb & Arson unit was called in, police told the paper that the studio was not evacuated. Nothing exploded, no one was hurt, and authorities are still investigating the contents of the package.

Today has been a great day in the sense I'm happy for my best friend's new baby. Sasha wecome to the world! I can't wait to SPOIL you and teach all the great things like momma and Auntie Ke. TIMES ARE CHANGING..

HAPPY SUNDAY EVERYONE! I know you guys have been missing me and I'm back by popular demand ( joking :) ) I apologize for my absence been going through so much on every level. I'm thankful to a have God, a loving and supportive family, a Real MAN IN MY LIFE, and inner circle(aka friends). I have had an interesting week and learned a lot about a certain person in my life and myself at the same time. I could go on and on bout that but that's not the real reason you stopped by here. So let's get on with the biz buzz..

Okay so it just wouldn't be right if I didn't start off by paying homage to a great pioneer of journalism, the legendary "Walter Cronkite" he passed recently at the age of 92. He is covered many great monumental times in our history and great people of American History. He will forever be known and remembered as "The most Trusted Man in America." Rip and you will forever be in our memories.

So there was actually someone left to arrest in the death of Steve Mcnair after he was slain by Sahel Kazemi. The original owner of the gun Ex-con Adrian Gilliam Jr. has to bite the bullet for selling the gun to Kazemi. He sold the 9mm gun to her two days before the shooting occurred. LIFE IS TOO SHORT, SO WITH EVERYTHING THAT HAS BEEN GOING ON LATELY I MUST SAY WE ALL MUST LIVE IT UP! I MAN RIDE TH WHEELS OFF AND GO AFTER OUR GOALS AND HEART'S DESIRES. THE SKY IS THE LIMIT! This week was a long week for me and everyone else I'm sure. I mean Tuesday we had Mj memorial services and then here in Nashville we had Steve Mcnair's memorial at my church home Mt. Zion Baptist Church. My heart and prayers are with both families. It's like Usher's song he sung at MJ memorial feel like their "Gone too Soon." On a positive note, I'm claiming my destiny and I may have the opportunity to get some things lined up to relocate. I'm praying for that to happen b/c I need a new beginning definitely.Well enuff about me and my spill let's get on to biz...

Bishop Joseph Warren Walker III did a great job with the Mcnair memorial. If you didn't get to see it you definitely missed out on a lot. I have it here for you through this link here.. His service in his hometown Mississppii will air today on Channel 5 at 11am. I went to pay my respects on this past Thursday Steve Mcnair was a great guy despite the way the media has viewed him since his death. Let's not forget he was a father of 4 kids, a husband, football player, and better yet a humanitarian. During this memorial, I learned more about the type of person he was. He seemed like a good down to earth country boy and like everyone we all have flaws so I'm not go judge.

THE WORLD'S GREATEST ...

How's everybody doing tonight? Today has been a hard day for me and all of you I'm sure at this rate. Today, "The World's Greatest Entertainer", Guiness Book of Records holder, Award winning, writer, father, and a legend in all our hearts was celebrated throughout the world. As I watched the CNN coverage ( while I really was supposed to be working..uhmm yea did you really thing I was going to be thinking about work at a time like this..NO!) online I was really at point of feeling happy,crocodile tears, and peace in the sense Michael 's memorial was an A+, I mean from beginning to end it was "Perfect" and I believe it was fitting for MICHAEL JACKSON. ( It was as if he was sitting right there with us or was that just the feeling I got... I WAS NOT ALONE). Now as for crocodile tears, i would say when Jermaine sung his favorite song "Smile", the Usher performance and the most tears came rolling for me when Paris spoke. She was a brave girl and it you could just feel the children and family as if you were there which just was too much for me.. LAST "PEACE" was in that building b/c think about it everyone was respectful and kept their composure...as the cameras spanned around the world IT WAS PEACEFUL AND THERE WAS LOVE WHETHER IT WAS IN NY, LA, NC, OR ATL.

THAT'S THE MOST IMPORTANT THING I BELIVE MICHAEL WANTED US TO Have and left EVERYONE "LOVE" ..JUST THINK IF EACH OF US DID HALF OF WHAT MICHAEL DID TO HELP SICK CHILDREN, LOWER CLASS FAMILIES, OR JUST HIS FANS HOW MUCH BETTER THIS WORLD WOULD BE..WE COULD DEFINITELY HEAL THE WORLD AS ALWAYS STRIVED TO DO! WELL THAT'S MY WORDS ON THAT FOR NOW.. LET'S GET ON TO THE FOOTAGE...

THE TRUTH COMES TO LIGHT!

I'M AT A LOST FOR WORDS RIGHT NOW! ( AGAIN FIRST MICHAEL WHICH I'M STILL NOT OVER AND NOW STEVE AIR MCNAIR IS KILLED HERE IN NASHVILLE IN A HOMICIDE)
i didn't want to believe this i had to go out and see it for myself...BUT TRUTH BE TOLD I BELIEVE IT WAS A MURDER SUICIDE. THE DIRTY LAUNDRY HAS NOW BEEN AIRED OUT..THE TRUTH HAS COME TO LIGHT...SAD THAT IT HAD TO END THIS WAY. Steve McNair 36, was killed at downtown condo he was renting. He was found sitting on a couch and his young 20 year old presumed girlfriend Sahel Kazemi( KNOWN TO HER FRIENDS AS JENNY) was found close by on the floor and the gun a semi automatic pistol was found under neath her body. Which leads me to believe she killed Mcnair shooting him twice in the head and chest and then shot herself in the head.

Sahel at age 20, was a child, and working at local restaurant Dave N Buster's. I just can't believe McNair went this way and he even had her name registered on a 2007 black Cadilliac Escalade. We don't know much about her, but according to her ex-boyfriend of 4 years she was raised by her sister in Florida and her mother died when she was 9. ( This says a lot she was probably a little lost with not having a mother figure to mold and guide her)

When I think of Steve McNair, I think of him as a leader, man of the community, and the Titan hero who went through numerous injuries and made history as a top Black quarterback drafted in 1995. I just wonder what really went down..We will continue to various stories, but sad to say the truth will not be told b/c the DEAD can't speak. I was watching the news earlier today and they stated that the two were out the night before at Blue Lagoon a restaurant here in Nashville, TN. I'm really sad for the families involved here. Especially, Mechelle and his four sons ranging in age from 4-17.

God Bless the families and give them strength in this difficult times!

SO MY 4TH OF JULY WEEKEND STARTS EARLY YAY! I'M OFF TODAY THANK GOD! There's still so much going around with Michael Jackson after his death. It's sad that it has to be like this. Everytime I turn on the TV there's some new twist with who will get custody of kids, estate, money, and funeral arrangements to come. Word is the funeral will be Tuesday July 7,2009 at the Staples Center. I know this is never going to end unfortunately b/c we all know how the media aims to drag him down and bring up all the negativity. Personally, I believe they should definitely work on demonstrating more RESPECT and LOVE for him, I mean just think if it wasn't for MJ a lot of opportunities for minorities in the music industry would not exist. Just an example, he was the first African American to crossover MTV with his videos and performances. There's so much that can be said about what Michael has contributed to us. His older brother Jermaine Jackson did a great job in his recent interview on the Today Show. Take a look for yourself.. he describes Michael Jackson as Allajah.. here him out in detail. A TRIBUTE FOR MJ

This past week has been one to go down in history nationally and personally for me. I'm still not wanting to believe that Michael is gone.. :( I just never can say goodbye. It's a shame that he was not received like this when he was alive and now after he dies it's like everyone is trying to bring more controversy... I just would like to see the media focus on all the POSITIVES HE BROUGHT AS A MUSIC DEITY.. HE HAS INSTILLED SO MUCH INTO MY GENERATION AND MANY BEFORE ME. As I look around my house, family members, friends, and talk to my parents I can't help, but notice how much his made an impact on our lives. Everyone has a story or a memory whether it be a bad dream from seeing the "Thriller" video at a young age, moonwalking, making a handmade glove out of socks lol, or better yet singing and dancing along as though we were Mike.

Last night, BET honored our "KING of Pop" Michael Jackson through songs, fashion, and speeches upon receiving awards. It was nice to see everyone come together to showcase their LOVE,SUPPORT,AND RESPECT FOR MIKE. Although, I must admit I wasn't too happy to see the Lil Wayne, Soulja Boy, and Jay Z performances b/c I felt like they were not in accordance with the whole concept of the show. How did you feel about that? I mean these guys would not be at their status now if it wasn't for Mike who paved the way for them. Ne how that's my spill on that. There was a lot of wonderful tribute performances and highlights this year... So let's get on with the show!

I NEVER CAN SAY GOODBYE... I DON'T BELIEVE THIS DAY IS HERE. MICHAEL JOSEPH JACKSON DIED FROM CARDIAC ARREST?! I'M SO WANTING THIS TO BE A BAD DREAM. :( YESTERDAY ED MCMAhon "The man who promised us all we would win MILLIONS AND STAR SEARCH HOST" DIED, THIS MORNING WHILE AT WORK I HEARD FARRAH FAWCETT "FAMOUS CHARLIE'S ANGEL" SUCCUMBED TO CANCER AND NOW MJ! ( You ever heard that saying death comes in 3's?) It's like I'm seeing my life flash before me right now.. I mean that in the sense when I was born MJ was at the peak of his career. I recall as a little girl dancing to his music nonstop , having my record player with his face on it, and LET ME NOT DARE FORGET MY MOONWALKER MOVIE! I SO LOVED IT AS A LITTLE GIRL. I WOULD WATCH IT OVER AND OVER AGAIN LIKE IT WAS A PREMIERE EACH TIME.

A part of all of us from each generation have memories and music to to last us a lifetime. I think it's important in these times to reflect on all the positive things MJ did for ALL PEOPLE..YES ALL PEOPLE.. BLACK, WHITE, MEXICAN, ASIAN, AFRICAN YOU NAME IT .. HE SHOWED US SO MUCH THROUGH HIS 50 YEARS. MOST IMPORTANT THING HE GAVE EVERYONE WAS HIS GENUINE LOVE!
I don't believe there was harmful thing about Mike, besides the fact that he loved being a big kid. From all the interviews, and coverage today it is relevant to mention Mike was really LONELY and he went through so much from childhood to this point.

In one of his interviews, he explained "Childhood" as his most personal song and testimony to his life. (So for those who don't know him or would like to know more bout him on personal level maybe listen there first.)

As I was watching, CNN news coverage and late tonight the Special Larry King had at 11pm, I noticed how he had impacted each generation from our parents, those of us in our prime years, and the teenagers. It will BE MANDATORY AND IMPORTANT THAT WE KEEP HIS VOICE ALIVE FOR THOSE GENERATIONS WHO WILL GROW UP IN A WORLD WITH NO MJ. IT'S LIKE AMERICAN HISTORY IN MY BOOK WE MUST INVEST HIS SEED INTO MUSIC HISTORY AND MAKE IT A POINT TO LET HIS LIGHT LIVE ON AND SHINE THROUGH EACH OF US! IT'S WHAT HE WOULD'VE WANTED. MY HEART AND PRAYERS GO OUT TO ALL THE FAMILIES WHO HAVE LOST THEIR LOVED ONES! MAY WE ALL STAY STRONG TOGETHER, AND KEEP THE LOVE ALIVE. EVERYONE SEND UP A SPECIAL PRAYER FOR THE FAMILIES SERIOUSLY, ONE CAN ONLY IMAGINE THE HURT AND PAIN THEIR FACING IN THESE TIMES!

SNOOP GIVING RAISING MONEY FOR LONG BEACH

As a native of the LBC West Coast rapper Snoop Dogg has vowed to give back to his city by raising 140 million dollars for a youth center in one of the poorest areas.
Word is it will be a 19 acre two story facility at around 84,000 square feet with all the typical perks offered at a youth center. It will have a gym, workout center, rec, walking trails, pools, and other options to help train the future atheletes in Long Beach. That's really good on Snoops part! Got's to dig that!

According to Allhiphop, "Snoop Dogg will record a track with all of the proceeds - an estimated $5 million dollars - going towards the facility."

It's finally the WEEKEND BABY! YES I'M SO GLAD.. I GOT TO SLEEP IN FOR A LIL BIT. So far I have a had a productive day. I payed some bills, ran some errands, and now looking forward to some relaxation. It's a pretty day so I know most of you are out and an d about painting the city. For those who are country music lovers you may want to head downtown for the CMA festivities. Well I was enlightened on some entertainment news today... so let's get the ball rollin'....

So yesterday I was reading online that the rumor that Usher Raymond ( one of my favorite R&B singers) and Tamika his wife had filed for divorce was FALSE...WELL TODAY CONFIRMATION HAS CAME OUT THAT USHER RAYMOND IS DIVORCED! FACE DROP ..PICK IT BACK UP! LOL.. LADIES I KNOW THAT MAKES US EXCITED AS FANS ..BC NO LIE IS IT JUST ME OR DO YOU FEEL LIKE HIS MUSIC FELL OFF WHEN HE WAS MARRIED TO THAT LADY? No disrespect to her or Usher I'm just stating the facts...NOW MAYBE HE CAN COME BACK AND DELIVER THE OLD MUSIC THAT WE LOVED AND THE DANCES...

I WAS DEEPLY SADDENED TO HEAR THEY WERE TAKING THE SHOW OFF B/C IT WAS ALWAYS full of real case scenarios for relationships , the plot was awesome, and LADIES we loved to see us some DERWIN...OHHHWEEE!!! MY HOW TIME FLIES BY...the seasons have changed we are in the hot months of summer finally. I know you all have been on your summer weekend getaways,cruise family vacation, romantic picnics, or one of my personal favorites swimming or relaxing on a beach with beautiful white sand and palm trees. Good vision huh! That's a good dream for me...I hope to fufill it along with my DESTINY SOON! I know everyone keeps saying to be PATIENT and my time will come. Patience is truly a virtue and I"M working on it still. I did however get blessed with a great word from Bishop Walker on Sunday.

He was right on time! He talked about transitioning and moving into fulfilling your destiny. I'm still growing and learning more about life and myself each day. I am blessed and highly favored. I rest assured that God is preparing through the growing pains , ups and downs, and heartaches for HIS PURPOSE. Although, I must say I have been going through some rough times it's all bigger than me and for REASON and I'm waiting for my SEASON and GOD knows it!

He will serve 366 days in a low security Arkansas prison. :( I'm definitely go miss his presence, but on the other hand I just know he's going to leave some heat for us this summer with his re release with new tracks. I'm already loving his new song feat. Mary J. Blige Remember Me.. and we definitely won't be forgetting ya TIP! Your presence in the rap game will be missed for the year. ON a good note, I did read that last Friday Tip sealed the deal and married his ride or die chick Tameka Cottle (aka Tiny from Xscape) last week in a private ceremony outside of Miami with immediate family.

My hearts and prayers are with Ti and his family!

I was saddened to hear today that Mike Tyson's 4-year-old daughter died after a treadmill injury. According to CNN, she was trapped in a cord and her older brother found her. Her mother tried to perform CPR. So sad :( My hearts and prayers are with this family as well. It's unfortunate to think his little girl died from exercise equipment ..I guess that's why it's always important to make your home hazardous free anytime children are involved.

Well the NBA HAS been pretty interesting these days. I was sad when my team Boston lost to Orlando. Now I'm directing my attention to the Denver Nuggets! I'm hoping they will win the NBA championship. I'M A HUGE MELO FAN! The games are tied up right now 2-2 and it's back to Los Angeles tonight. It seems as though Melo plays better in LA ..he typically averages around 34! Don't hate on him. Anyhow on the flip side the Cleveland Cavaliers and Orlando Magic have had some great nail bitter games where it comes down to the last shot. Well what's your take who do you want to win the NBA title this year? Time's a steady ticking away. ...

I was in my line sister's wedding in April and it was a beautiful wedding! Now where in the month of May and I feel as though this year has already passed me by. Times surely seem to get faster and faster as you get older. I celebrated my grandmother's 81st BDAY and true friend to the end Tiffani's graduation from TSU. THe concert will be just in the nick of time and I hear the price of admission is only 37.50 which is supposed to be the amount time he will serve in prison. Clfford Harris has until May 26 at 12pm to turn himself in a federal prison in Arkansas.

I know I have been gone for quite some time..been really busy lately on every level.I LOVE APRIL B/C THIS IS MY BDAY MONTH..I'M COUNTING DOWN BUT NOT REALLY KNOWING WHAT I'M GOING TO DO FOR MY BDAY ON APRIL 28.. it's kind of hard to top last year... TODAY ON THE LOCAL FRONT WAS A SHOCKING MOMENT WHEN I WAS AT WORK and saw that one of my favorite reporters DAN Miller died after taking a walk in his neighborhood around 10:30pm while taking a walk in his hometown Augusta, GA . He apparently had an heart attack while taking a walk with some of his WSMV colleagues. He definitely will be MISSED AND REMEMBERED always. He was a true legend here in Nashville. I recall seeing him a couple of months ago at J Alexander..so reachable and A GREAT PERSON AND TRUE REPORTER! HE WILL DEFINITELY BE REMEMBERED AND MISSED! MY HEARTS AND PRAYERS GO OUT TO THE FAMILY AND CHANNEL 4 NEWS.

IT IS TRULY A SAD DAY IN THE WORLD OF JOURNALISM AND WRITERS LIKE MYSELF..I FOUND OUT TODAY THAT CHICAGO SUN TIMES HAS FILED FOR BANKRUPTCY..YES CHAPTER 11 FOLKS...I DON'T know what's going to happen with the industry seems like every time I turn around we are losing more outlets of voice... First it was the Denver paper now this.

OKAY SO Today is Saturday and more important today is Earth Hour. What is Earth Hour you may be asking? It is an hour STARTING AT 8:30 PM to save and conserve energy and act on helping better our climate and GOING GREEN to save our planet. I mean think about all the chemicals, toxins, and gas we push out into the world on the regular.. imagine if we took time to cut off the lights an hour out of each month how much that could make a difference with our planet. Now I for one, am not the GO GREEN consultant or ACTIVIST..but if there are little things that I can help do to better the world right here starting with me and each of you we should be willing if we want to be ALIVE. lol.. Well that's my spill on that.. So moving on to my next thoughts it wouldn't be right if I didn't mention Clifford Harris.

CLIFFORD HARRIS better known to the world as "TI" or "TIP" went to jail yesterday. He has been in my thoughts and prayers a lot here lately. After being exposed to his show on MTV, "TI's Road to Redemption", I could honestly see another side of him and understand why he actually did what he did. I'm not here to validate that it was the right thing, but all I'm saying is listen to his story ..if you don't have Paper Trail ..you sleeping on it and you need to go listen to "Ready for Whatevea" ... b/c he's saying a lot.. Put yourself in his position your an entertainer and favorite rapper in the game and everyone is trying to get at you and through drama your way on the regular. Your best friend gets killed right before your very eyes after you just left hanging out and celebrating good times. ( I know we have all been there) Next, thing you know you got an altercation as you leaving the club ( Been there done that) and Ti and his crew are leaving and the enemy is steady more trying to come at TI'S crew and kill them. Man down that quick and sadly in this case it was Ti's best friend Big Phil.

So after this, your spooked and having to watch your back when you right hand man from grade school up is gunned down right in front you and you watch this man take his last breathe. This was so sad and I know how it feels to lose someone close and dear to you. I lost my cousin Brittany in a crazy TRIPLE murder case here in Nashville...so I truly believe you "LIVE AND LEARN"... Back to TIP I'm not saying he wasn't in the wrong all I'm saying is if your a celebrity who has been through a troubled upbringing and been to jail in the past and seen a lot of things in your lifetime and you trying to provide for your family and keep making strides as an entertainer its 10 times harder to feel safe AND NOT WORRY ABOUT THAT ONE PERSON COMING AFTER YOU to harm you or your family! He felt as though his life was in jeopardy and I think if anyone could be in his shoes then 9 times out of 10 they would have done the same thing... In addition, I must say that I felt like it was unloyal for his bodyguard at the time to rat him out.. I What's your take on Ti going to jail? My man IS DEFINITELY GOING TO BE MISSED AND WILL BE KEEPING HIM IN MY THOUGHTS AND PRAYERS!

A LAWYER STABBED 38 TIMES..

WOW ..THIS IS SO CRAZY.. I just came across this story on CNN this 38 year old lawyer was presumed to be murdered by her husband and was stabbed 38 times.. This 34 year old woman Chiquita Tate was found killed in her Louisiana law office on February 20. They say that she loved law so much she had a justice tattoo on her back. This is so sad she was at the peak of her career. It seems as though there are a lot of cases like this especially here in TN where the successful woman is in her prime and fulfilling her roles and desires in life and then a MAN takes it away from her b/c he can't bear the thought of losing her or for other reasons I'm unaware of ... but what do you think about this ? Hey everybody! I know I have been absence for quite some time now..just had a lot of things going on with me lately. I'm going through the motions this week and facing a hair dilemma..trying to figure out what I want to do with my hair lately..Natural or Perm..I have had Perm since I was little one ...I like my hair to be straight and glam at all times when necessary, however I have been trying this natural thing..but I don't know if I will survive it and run back to my perm. At any rate, I had my hair done over the weekend, it was nice sew in curly..however Sunday night it was itching so bad and hurting me that I didn't sleep good. Monday night was the last straw for me I tried to spray my hair down and grease my scalp, but I felt like my hair was on fire..so of COURSE I HAD TO TAKE IT DOWN! NOW I'm dealing with my hair again and trying to decide what to do next.. I have been rocking my hats this week..until I figure out the next thing I wanna do with my hair.. but anyhow enough about that let's get on to the blog...

While I'm on this topic yet again I saw on the local news here that Gospel singer Bebe Winans was arrested for pushing his wife in altercation that happened on FEb. 13..I mean is there something in the water or what? He posted bail and of course is a judge on the BET SHOW in Atlanta , "Sunday Best."

HI EVERYONE I HOPE YOUR HAVING A GOOD HUMP DAY! I HAVE BEEN BUSY ENJOYING THE BEAUTIFUL WARM WEATHER GOD PROVIDED TO US HERE IN NASHVILLE MONDAY AND TUESDAY. I started working out hard Monday and I hope to see some results soon. Today, has been pretty regular for the most part, besides my sinus headache I have been having since work earlier. I finished my first story for a new coming magazine that I'm music writer for and I hope to reveal it to you soon enough. Okay so this morning, as I was getting ready for work I did notice and think to myself there have been a lot of killing sprees going on around the world lately...what's really going on? Did you hear about that preacher that was gunned down inside his church in Missouri ( so :( sad) I can' t imagine how crazy that would be to sit in church and watch your pastor die. So I know you have all heard about this crazy guy that went on a killing spree in Alabama.. he killed his mother, aunts, grandparents, and so many other families before killing himself. It's so crazy out here and then not to mention all the violence throughout the country. POINTLESS.. I'm tired of hearing abot all these unnecessary deaths. So heartless, selfish, and ignorant on the killers part.

Moving on to the main topic of discussion on every front... I heard on Steve Harvey Show this morning they were discussing Rihanna's situation and giving information on DOMESTIC ABUSE and a number you could call. It's like this story is the talk of the world now... I mean CNN IS RUNNING SPECIAL SHOWS LEFT AND RIGHT, OPRAH OFFERED HER FEELINGS YESTERDAY AND SHE PLANS TO RUN A SHOW ON DOMESTIC ABUSE, THEN AS I'M HOME FLIPPING CHANNELS i see on BET THAT ROCSI AND TERRANCE PLAN TO HAVE A SPECIAL SHOW ON ABUSE IN RELATIONSHIPS. I also have been following this ..I read on Inside Edition that Rihanna's father has really had no contact with his daughter...she sent him a text message saying she missed him.

I know that has to be hard on the father..I hear she's literally shut out her whole family. I mean she really needs to go to her family on this one in my eyes. I agree with Oprah and Essence editor who said if he hits you once he will definitely hit you again. It's saddening to see that she ran back to him so quickly and easily.. they are actually working on a song together in the studio. There are even rumors that they have book deal and plan to go on tour and talk about domestic violence....WOW THAT WOULD BE CRAZY?! WELL ANY RATE I COULD GO ON AND ON ON THIS SO HERE WE GO...

OKAY, SO I HAVE STARTED OFFICALLY PREPARING MYSELF TO LOSE A COUPLE OF LBS AND BE READY FOR MY LINE SISTER'S WEDDING AND TO FIT MY DRESS :)..NOT TO MENTION GET READY FOR MY BDAY! I'M THINKING MAYBE I WILL TAKE ME A BEACH TRIP SOMETIME IN MAY TO CELEBRATE MY BDAY..WHO KNOWS.. TODAY WAS A GOOD DAY OVERRALL..the weather was nice and breezy. I know b/c I actually worked out at the park today after I did my time at work. I can already see it's going to be tuff for me to lose these few lbs...because I love Breads, Sweets,and French Fries.. Deadly combo! I'm definitely going to have to watch what I eat more and cut back. I guess that saying you are what you eat is soo true..well on that note let's get it started...

So today was the first day for court in the Rihanna and Chris Brown ordeal hear's what's going on that we know for fact right about now the fight started from a text message that Rihanna saw in Brown's phone. Then, sometime early Monday, Will Bleakley thought he saw a light in the distance. He decided to take off his life jacket and swim to it, hoping to get help, Bob Bleakley said Schuyler told the investigators.

1. Regardless of how long you’ve been together, you still need to maintain a sense of surprise. Says Obama, "Sometimes, when we’re lying together, I look at her and I feel dizzy with the realization that here is another distinct person from me, who has memories, origins, thoughts, feelings that are different from my own. That tension between familiarity and mystery meshes something strong between us. Even if one builds a life together based on trust, attentiveness and mutual support, I think that’s it’s important that a partner continues to surprise."

The president couldn’t have said it better. Marriages are built on a foundation of responsibility, dependability and predictability. But sexual attraction is based on spontaneity, unpredictability and, to Obama’s point, a little mystery. Reconciling those two opposite poles-- familiarity and mystery -- is one of the biggest challenges a couple faces and it starts with cultivating a sense of newness and surprise.

2. Show a little tenderness. Says the president of the first lady, "If you look deep into her eyes, there's a certain vulnerability." I don’t know about you, but I’ve definitely observed during their interviews together that they do make a lot of eye contact with each other, and I have no doubt he has spent much time looking deep into her eyes. Non-physical intimacy outside the bedroom is key to a loving, intimate sex life and it’s refreshing to have a first couple who is so comfortable kissing, dancing, cuddling and holding hands.

3. Opposites attract. Says Obama: “Michelle’s family life was different, very stable with two parents, a stay-at-home mom, a brother, a dog, that kind of thing. They’ve lived in the same house all their lives…a part of me was wondering what a strong, reassuring family life would look like while Michelle in a way, wanted to break from that model.”

Opposites often do attract, and very often couples are drawn to each other when they indeed come from opposite backgrounds. In many ways becoming a couple is about our individual search for growth and balance.

4. Stay friends. Says Michelle, “Our relationship was first a friendship. It took off from there." In a long-term relationship it’s often a challenge to stay friends with your partner and to keep your friendship expanding. And in today’s world of social networking and Facebook, we’re often so busy “friending” others that we lose precious opportunities to strengthen our friendship with our spouse.

5. Be a relationship role-model. Says the president: "What concerns me the most are children and the way they are treated." Of course he’s talking about social issues facing families – poverty, education, absent parents – but it’s also important to remember that one of the greatest gifts you can give your children is to be happy adults. And that comes down to your relationship to each other. It’s no surprise that the Obama children beam with life. They have happy parents who aren’t afraid to show their love to each other. And that love is contagious.

I came home this evening and for the first time decided to do my own taxes opposed to going to my church.It has been a pretty easy ride so far so good..but I do want to double check myself so I'm thinking of taking it to a professional, because the last thing I need is for them to charge me for filing anything wrong. IT'S MONDAY! THE START OF A NEW WORK WEEK AND MONTH. MARCH IS WHEN IT'S SUPPOSED TO BE WARM..WRONG GUESS AGAIN IT SNOWED OVER THE WEEKEND IN THE SOUTH..TODAY SEEMED LIKE IT WAS ONE OF THE COLDEST DAYS EVER ..THE WIND WAS BLOWING HARD..

It seems as though time is passing by rather quickly these days. It's so much I want to do and get done in a short period of time..I have been working hard at my job and at my passion. I'm truly really to reap the benefits. Times like this I wish I was still in school so I could take part in a Spring Break getaway. Maybe I will get my wish granted when my birthday rolls around next month.. At any rate so much going on today so let's get down to it...

TODAY was rather busy for me. I'm working on adjusting to waking up at an earlier time frame than normal. I really wish I had my old schedule...those of you who drive from Antioch know my pain...TRAFFIC! I get so sick of driving to and from work in traffic. Sometimes I wish I was a character in Grand Theft Auto and I could hit the people who are driving like they have no where to be bright and early in the morning. Due to bumper to bumper traffic today..I was late to work :( ... which means one of two things 1. I will have to get up even earlier to make it to work on time 2. People can't DRIVE IN THE MORNING!! ...I'm leaning towards 2! lol.. Ne how I did my time at work, and was excited to fulfill my taste buds with IHOP TONIGHT! You see tonight IHOP has a special where you get a free stack of pancakes and you get to give back by donating to the Vanderbilt Children's Hospital.

I got to kill 2 birds in one stone..GOOD MEAL AND HELP OTHERS! I MUST SAY THANK YOU to my friend Ebony.. because I would have never known about the special. Well I know I missed you guys last night.. but I'm ready for action!

PRESIDENT OBAMA RELEASES EXCERPTS OF HIS SPEECH HE WILL DELIVER TONIGHT...

We have lived through an era where too often, short-term gains were prized over long-term prosperity; where we failed to look beyond the next payment, the next quarter, or the next election. A surplus became an excuse to transfer wealth to the wealthy instead of an opportunity to invest in our future. Regulations were gutted for the sake of a quick profit at the expense of a healthy market. People bought homes they knew they couldn't afford from banks and lenders who pushed those bad loans anyway. And all the while, critical debates and difficult decisions were put off for some other time on some other day.

Well that day of reckoning has arrived, and the time to take charge of our future is here.

Now is the time to act boldly and wisely -- to not only revive this economy, but to build a new foundation for lasting prosperity. Now is the time to jump-start job creation, re-start lending and invest in areas like energy, health care, and education that will grow our economy, even as we make hard choices to bring our deficit down. That is what my economic agenda is designed to do, and that's what I'd like to talk to you about tonight.

The recovery plan and the financial stability plan are the immediate steps we're taking to revive our economy in the short-term. But the only way to fully restore America's economic strength is to make the long-term investments that will lead to new jobs, new industries, and a renewed ability to compete with the rest of the world. The only way this century will be another American century is if we confront at last the price of our dependence on oil and the high cost of health care; the schools that aren't preparing our children and the mountain of debt they stand to inherit. That is our responsibility.

In the next few days, I will submit a budget to Congress. So often, we have come to view these documents as simply numbers on a page or laundry lists of programs. I see this document differently. I see it as a vision for America -- as a blueprint for our future.

My budget does not attempt to solve every problem or address every issue. It reflects the stark reality of what we've inherited -- a trillion dollar deficit, a financial crisis, and a costly recession.

Given these realities, everyone in this chamber -- Democrats and Republicans -- will have to sacrifice some worthy priorities for which there are no dollars. And that includes me.

But that does not mean we can afford to ignore our long-term challenges. I reject the view that says our problems will simply take care of themselves; that says government has no role in laying the foundation for our common prosperity.

Yesterday, I held a fiscal summit where I pledged to cut the deficit in half by the end of my first term in office. My administration has also begun to go line by line through the federal budget in order to eliminate wasteful and ineffective programs. As you can imagine, this is a process that will take some time. But we're starting with the biggest lines. We have already identified $2 trillion in savings over the next decade.

In this budget, we will end education programs that don't work and end direct payments to large agribusinesses that don't need them. We'll eliminate the no-bid contracts that have wasted billions in Iraq, and reform our defense budget so that we're not paying for Cold War-era weapons systems we don't use. We will root out the waste, fraud, and abuse in our Medicare program that doesn't make our seniors any healthier, and we will restore a sense of fairness and balance to our tax code by finally ending the tax breaks for corporations that ship our jobs overseas.

I know that we haven't agreed on every issue thus far, and there are surely times in the future when we will part ways. But I also know that every American who is sitting here tonight loves this country and wants it to succeed. That must be the starting point for every debate we have in the coming months, and where we return after those debates are done. That is the foundation on which the American people expect us to build common ground.

But in my life, I have also learned that hope is found in unlikely places; that inspiration often comes not from those with the most power or celebrity, but from the dreams and aspirations of Americans who are anything but ordinary.

I think about Leonard Abess, the bank president from Miami who reportedly cashed out of his company, took a $60 million bonus, and gave it out to all 399 people who worked for him, plus another 72 who used to work for him. He didn't tell anyone, but when the local newspaper found out, he simply said, ''I knew some of these people since I was 7 years old. I didn't feel right getting the money myself."

I think about Greensburg, Kansas, a town that was completely destroyed by a tornado, but is being rebuilt by its residents as a global example of how clean energy can power an entire community -- how it can bring jobs and businesses to a place where piles of bricks and rubble once lay. "The tragedy was terrible," said one of the men who helped them rebuild. "But the folks here know that it also provided an incredible opportunity."

And I think about Ty'Sheoma Bethea, the young girl from that school I visited in Dillon, South Carolina -- a place where the ceilings leak, the paint peels off the walls, and they have to stop teaching six times a day because the train barrels by their classroom. She has been told that her school is hopeless, but the other day after class she went to the public library and typed up a letter to the people sitting in this room. She even asked her principal for the money to buy a stamp. The letter asks us for help, and says, "We are just students trying to become lawyers, doctors, congressmen like yourself and one day president, so we can make a change to not just the state of South Carolina but also the world. We are not quitters."

Did you know that we are watching more TV these days? I wonder why that is... well I found a story on CNN that says Nielson rating are at an all time high. In the report, it was revealed the average American TV viewer watches more than 151 hours of TV a month..that's scary huh? What types of shows are you watching at home..it seems like all there is is reality TV out there these days...

It's OSCAR time once again- you know the time where you see all the top HOLLYWOOD entertainers gather together in their designer gowns, tuxedos, jewelry and let us not forget the sophisticated yet elegant hairstyles displayed as well. The Oscars are a great time to see new fashion trends, make up ideas and to see WHAT'S OR NOT...As a fashionista I personally like to blend my own style to trends. ( I'm having a flashback..HIGH SCHOOL I remember drawing a sketch of my teal prom dress.. I was so excited and happy I created the vision for my dress..accessories and I had my hairstyle down to a science.)

Personally, I think my Swagger ( style and personality) is what sets me apart from the next person and I know we all can agree that there's that one little something about oneself ..the 'UMPHH' factor that makes you special and stand out.

Moving right along, I have so many things I want to talk about, but I'm going to narrow it down since is getting a little late. Never fear I promise to keep you in tune with what's going on ... I just wish that I could hear your opinions and thoughts more. This blog means more to me than you probably think. It's my way of doing something I enjoy and practicing my passion -WRITING. CNN is saying the rating have been down for ABC..so they are trying to make up with the numbers of viewers by adding some surprise in the mix.. Now will this be effective... I think not .. I mean come on all we have to do is Google, visit blogs like mine or go to an entertainment site to see the gowns.... I heard their not going to reveal who the presenters are either.. TYLER PERRY MAKING HISTORY

Okay so it has been a while since I have dropped some words on the movie side of things. I went to the movies to see, "Madea Goes to Jail," tonight. I must say this is a WINNER! MADEA is a class act as always...this movie had a lot of good angles and it goes to show that you can't judge a book by it's cover. I don't want to give away the movie, but I strongly recommend this movie to everybody. Tyler did a great job with the cast-Keyshia Knight Pulliam aka Rudy Huxtable and Derek Luke( Notorious plays Puffy Combs) were my favorite storyline in the movie.

More importantly, I think it is a great idea to support Tyler Perry because he helps others start their careers, reaches out in the community, he has a message in his work and he made it from the bottom to the top. He has a true testimony. For those of you that don't know at one point and time he was homeless at one point and now look at him. God is Good All the Time!

Access Atlanta, reveals this film has already topped the box office $41.1 million, making it the highest grossing film Lionsgate and Tyler Perry since "Diary of a Mad Black Woman." Keep em' coming Tyler..

RIHANNA RELEASES A STATEMENT

RiRi is not going into details yet about her falling out with Chris Brown, however she did release a statement through her representative.

THINKIN' AND DREAMING..

Happy Friday everyone! Yes today is Friday, we have all been counting down and making plans for this day. It's finally here. I have been in thinking and dream mode here lately. Is it just me or do you ever feel like you have a load of ideas and dreams that are packed in the brain waiting to get out? Me being the creative and introverted individual at times, is what makes me shine in my opinion. Not to mention, my desire to be DIFFERENT. At any rate, I just have to say this blog is a testimony for me and the story on the 73 year old basketball player makes me A TRUE BELIEVER THAT ANYTHING IS POSSIBLE...THE SKY IS TRULY THE LIMIT! With that being said, let's get down to business for today...

So Mrs. Paper Planes bka MIA gave birth to a healthy baby boi around 2am the same night of the Grammys. I hope I'm energetic as she was on stage with her performance.. It was amazing to see her on stage peforming when it was her due date.
HE'S SO ADORABLE!

WHILE we are on the topic of babies..I saw on BET today that rapper Nas and his wife Kelis are expecting their first baby together. This is great news. I'm excited for them. It will be Nas' first son. A true legend will be born.

Tiger woods is set to reveal the first photos of his new born son Charlie Axel Woods to Golf magazine...Wow he didn't waste any time I read on Ace showbiz the baby was 10 days old. Do you think it's good for celebrities to profit and expose their newborn babies? I think if I was a celebrity, my view would be to save my child from the cameras and magazines until the child was at a certain age to decide if they wanted to be in the limelight.. What do you think?

To be or not to be is my mindset today. It has truly been a long day for me. This afternoon, I was hit by a SUV while driving home from work today. ( the Vandy college student managed to bump me just enough to scratch my bumper and crack it.) So picture me sitting in the middle lane during traffic time on Harding Place. Not a pretty picture! ( The Vandy girl whom hit me didn't want to call the cops..I know that's the funny part right? I guess she knew she would be in for rude awakening since she was at fault or maybe her insurance wasn't that great?) Anyhow, we exchanged information..I opted for the HONESTY method after speaking with my father. Now, I'm going to pray that this young lady does the right thing. ( I'm really feeling the aftermath right about now..my back is aching a little bit.)

In addition, I must say I had a blast last night with my close circle of friends at PF CHANGS celebrating my friend's birthday. ( I definitely needed that break) It's nothing like being with my besties and sharing great clean fun. :) Little did I know I would be in for a little more than I bargained for last night. I'M A SURVIVOR! Nevertheless, I'm here to deliver the news you can use.

RELAX MODE...

So today, is a relax day for me. I had a WONDERFUL VALENTINE'S DAY and I'm very thankful for everything my sweetheart did for me. I'm in relax mode today. It's good to take that time to lay back and get ready for the week to come. I did manage to catch some of the All-Star festivities yesterday. I guess I will be watching the All Star game tonight. Anyhow, I'm moving forward slowly but surely to be where I need to be. I have actually managed to pay off another credit card. One of the deadliest, for me "EXPRESS" I LOVE THAT place, but in order to get ahead I'm going to cut back on that store.

Well withthat being said let's get on with my biz.

So today since I been home for a great part of the day i noticed a lot of new season reality shows that started. Yesterday I told you about Mtb4 SEASON 3..well today I saw part of TI's new show called Road to Redemption and Bentley Fonsworth is at it again with his 2nd season of G's to Gentlemen.. it seems like this show is here to stay.. I'm counting down till Tuesday when Snoop's new variety show premieres on MTV.

CHRIS BROWN BREAKS HIS SILENCE

After a week, has transpired since the Chris and Rihanna incidient we have yet to hear anything for both parties. Well, that changed today. According to CNN, Chris' spokesperson delivered a message from the MESSENGER CHRIS BROWN..

"Words cannot begin to express how sorry and saddened I am over what transpired," the 19-year-old said in a statement released by his spokesman. "I am seeking the counseling of my pastor, my mother and other loved ones and I am committed, with God's help, to emerging a better person."

He added, "Much of what has been speculated or reported on blogs and/or reported in the media is wrong. While I would like to be able to talk about this more, until the legal issues are resolved, this is all I can say except that I have not written any messages or made any posts to Facebook, on blogs or any place else. Those posts or writings under my name are frauds."

HAPPY VALENTINE'S DAY! EVERYDAY'S THE 14TH... the song that's playing in my head is OUTKAST today.. WELL it's that time of year again. I hope you guys out there have stepped your game up and are ready to make your girlfriend, playmate, or soulmate melt with joy and happiness. For me personally, I always look forward to Valentine's day, although it's been a minute since I just had a really special one. A free pointer to you guys is to GO all the WAY out of the BOX..do something special that you may have never thought of like...a day picnic ( depending on the weather) a NICE RESTAURANT, and by the end of the night some candles and rose petals would be fantastic. Oh and don't forget the chocolate covered strawberries, whip cream, and wine. :) See I'm already setting the mode for some of you. I will collect my money later for my ideas.

For those guys that are thinking,"MAN I'M SO BROKE"... THIS IS WHAT YOU DO write your girl something personalized and sweet...take her for a nice romantic walk...cook her a GOOD DINNER AT HOME. There are no EXCUSES ON THIS DAY KNOW THAT. Well that's my advice to the fellas...now LADIES we know today is like a really special day so step your game up. Make sure you Have your TEMPLE in order. What I mean by this is Get your Hair done or do it yourself, get your mani and pedi's, put on something nice today to let your MAN know he HAS A SPECIAL QUEEN in front of him, make sure you have a fresh face whether you choose natural or make-up...

It's Friday the 13th...Yes, it's everyones craziest Fridays of the year typically. I can say that something bizarre ALWAYS seems to pop off on this day. How ironic is that Valentine's Day is following a day like this? My day thus far was regular up until around 5ish and now ever since then my mind is in deep thought. I have all this things I want to happen in my life just a matter of getting them to fall into place and order. I really don't feel like myself right now, but thats okay because in the end I know GOD got my back. Ne how here's my blog today.

Since Valentine's day is tomorrow and I know many of you will be booed up I wanted to do something a lil different to my blog.

ALL STAR WEEKEND

I KNOW most of you guys are watching BASKETBALL all weekend since it's All Star weekend in Phoenix. I for one wish I could be there live to take in all the great entertainment. I know you all heard about the crash that happened thursday night..so sad :( 50 people were killed. My prayers are with these families. I can't even imagine the pain they must be going thru... If you read up on this it was amazing how all the different passengers had made progression and differences in the lives of others. This is so sad . How do you feel about all the plane crashes lately..does it scare you away from flying or do you feel safe and secure when flying?
